CELEBRATING 10 YEARS WITH AMY HAINSWORTH

Meet Amy, she is sweet, simple, and good at heart. She loves her family, she loves food and baking, and she loves a long walk - especially in the winter around her hometown in Yorkshire. Amy's been wearing Monica Vinader jewellery for seven years now, as have three generations of women in her family and she loves the feeling she gets whilst wearing Monica Vinader jewellery.

How long have you been wearing MV?

I have been wearing Monica Vinader jewellery for roughly 7 years.

Where do you live?

I live in a flat in Kingston along the River Thames.

What are you reading?

'Snap' by Belinda Bauer but I just finished 'This Is Going To Hurt' by Adam Kay, which was hilarious and eye-opening.

What are you listening to?

Anything upbeat and happy although I would listen to pretty much anything.

What's your top holiday destination?

Either a Greek Island or the Italian Riviera.

Tell us a fun fact about you.

I am not sure if this is a fun fact but I cannot sit still. I am originally from Malton in North Yorkshire and love the outdoors. Country walks especially in winter are my favourite, followed by the pub!

What's your favourite childhood memory?

Baking with my nan and watching Clint Eastwood movies with my dad on a Sunday.

What/who inspires you?

My family and food!

What are you most proud of in your life so far?

My university degree - it is something I worked incredibly hard for and it paid off with a first class honours.

What is the best life advice you have ever received?

Work hard and remember your manners. It is not always about being the most intelligent or getting the best exam results, if you work hard and are polite to people I think it goes a long way.

What is your biggest dream or ambition in life?

I've always wanted to own and run my own café! if I won the lottery I would like a yacht to travel around the Mediterranean.

What is your favourite inspirational quote?

"Life is for living."

Describe your style in three words.

Simple, easy and comfy! (Basically jeans, a t-shirt and a blazer)

Do you prefer a minimal or statement jewellery look?

Definitely a minimal jewellery look.

Do you have a finish preference of Silver, Rose or Yellow Gold (or mixed metals)?

I usually wear Rose Gold, however since discovering Monica Vinader jewellery I have started to really enjoy mixing metals. I love Rose Gold and Sterling Silver together but prefer to wear Yellow Gold jewellery when I've got a tan.

What do you love about Monica Vinader jewellery?

I love the feeling you get whilst wearing Monica Vinader jewellery - it is always great quality, makes you feel good and finishes off any outfit. It also creates opportunities to be individual - I am always spotting women wearing Monica Vinader jewellery and thinking 'Oh I didn't think to wear it with that or like that'. My mum and nan also love it, so I think it caters for all ages and those who have varied budgets.

What are your top 3 Monica Vinader pieces?

Nura Teardrop Diamond Climber earrings

Nura Diamond Pebble bracelet - I wear this every day

Baja Deco ID bracelet in Yellow Gold - engraved with my name

If you could have anything engraved on a Monica Vinader piece what would it be and which piece would you choose?

The Monica Vinader square cufflinks and I would engrave them with my boyfriend's name for the perfect gift!

Amy wears the Nura collection, newly available in Sterling Silver, styled with a selection of pieces from our iconic Fiji and Signature collections.
