My Style inspiration is…

Definitely my mother. For me, true style is understated yet glamorous at the same time, and she always masters this. Growing up, I remember even then loving when she mixed very dark denim jeans, with a silk blouse, fabulous tailored velvet jacket and a gorgeous pair of heels. She always wore an amazing gold bracelet full of charms my father bought for her on their travels. It certainly inspired my current collection of gold bracelets!

The Brooke Shields Calvin Klein campaign is one of my favourite style images - I love the burgundy silk blouse, the perfect jean and the gorgeous Chelsea boots. She looks so laid-back, but so glamorous at the same time. That for me is true style.

I pair my denim with…

I pair my denim with diamonds! There is nothing more fabulous than a perfect pair of jeans like the J Brand Anya in Ardennes with a cashmere sweater and stacks of rings. I have chosen the Baja rings in rose gold teamed with a mixture of Baja and Diamond skinny bracelets. I am crazy about the combination of rose gold with grey. Throw on a structured oversized coat that's "borrowed from the boys" and you have the essence of autumn/winter all wrapped up.

My favourite look from the Donna Ida style session…

I loved the teal Pyrus Malta blouse paired with Ida Ivy Jeans in Deep Sea. I mixed in the colourful Baja stacking rings with Riva diamonds. The combination makes a statement and helps the outfit transition from day to night; perfect for going from a day of meetings in the office to an evening of cocktails with friends.

My go to accessory is…

My collection of bracelets. They never leave my wrist - I just keep collecting and making new combinations. I mix these in with old friends I have had for years, like my Dior Oui Oui bracelet. It's my style trademark.

I never leave the house without…

My new Siren diamond rings. They make every outfit look modern and fresh. I love to pile them on and make a different look each time. I also love my charcoal Chanel 2.55 handbag and my new Desireé Charlotte Olympia suede stripe courts, a new and welcome addition to my wardrobe and perfect for dressing up denim.

The best part of my job is…

It's always changing and I am with working with so many people who inspire me, from designers to personal shopping clients to photographers. One of my best moments this summer was shooting Gillian Anderson for the 25th Anniversary Edition of Marie Claire with Rankin - now there is one seriously beautiful and inspiring actress!

The most valuable style advice I have been given is…

Always take one thing off before you leave the house.
