TALA ON WHAT TO WEAR AND WHERE TO EAT IN THIS UNIQUE CITY
What's the best thing about The Palm?
The Palm is one of the many things Dubai is proud about; our own manmade island, that feels like its own city! And the Anantara Hotel where we're shooting today is an incredible getaway that you would only find in Dubai.
In three words, describe Dubai style.
Glamorous, detailed and bold
Any tips on hidden gems in the city?
Teatro. This restaurant was hip and cool 10 years ago, and it still is. People who visit never hear about the place, as it's quite an old restaurant, but it really has the most incredible food, service and crowd.
What signifies the start of spring for
Spring in Dubai has some of the best weather; not too hot, not too cold and yet you can still get a tan. It's my favourite time of the year.
I’m currently wearing a lot of green onyx. It’s such a fresh colour with a real feeling of glamour.
What one spring wardrobe essential could you not live
My blanket scarf. It's as much a cosy travel blanket as it is an accessory, so comes in very handy.
Match your metals or mix your metals?
A few years ago, I would have said matching all the way, and I still do that, but mixing is the perfect way to achieve a more eclectic and fun look.
What's your favourite gemstone for
That's such a tough question! I love the blues, like aquamarine and lapis, but I'm currently wearing a lot of green onyx. It's such a fresh, rich colour with a real feeling of glamour.
What's your MV must-have?
I love MV rings. Stacking them up allows you to create so many different looks. I also love the fact that you can engrave quotes and sayings on pendants and bracelets. So any personalised jewellery is a must-have for me!
