FAYE TALKS NIGHT-TIME CITY VIEWS AND WINTER GEMSTONE HUES

What's the best thing about Causeway Bay?
It's basically the heart of the city, where most high-end malls and decent restaurants from all over the world are gathered. RIVA and The Deck is one of my favourite bar-restaurants in Causeway Bay, where my friends and I often hang out. It's at the Park Lane Hotel and there's an outdoor deck perched on the 27th floor. The view there is magnificent and you can glance across the Victoria Harbour and see the Kowloon Peninsula of Hong Kong. It's great to have a drink there and take in Hong Kong's stunning night view.

In three words, describe Hong Kong style.
Intense but exuberantly buoyant.

What one style essential could you not live without?
Definitely rings!

Silver, gold, rose gold, or all of the above?
I love silver and rose gold! Silver has always been my all-time favourite, and rose gold adds a special touch of elegance to my mix and match.

What's your favourite gemstone colour for winter?
I love grey agate and black onyx. They match perfectly with the crisp and cool winter colour palette.

The Baja Long Ring has become my styling essential – it adds a special chic kick to my collection.

What's your MV must-have?
The Baja Long Ring is my favourite. I love stacking different rings and it has become my styling essential - it adds a special chic kick to my ring collection.

Do you have any rituals for Chinese New Year?
We normally give out red pockets with money to kids as a blessing of prosperity and luck from the elder. We also visit our relatives during Chinese New Year to catch up with each of them, but more importantly pay a visit to the seniors, because our culture values the family hierarchy quite a lot. We have similar rituals to thanksgiving, such as having traditional meals together.

How will you be celebrating?
Besides visiting other relatives, I usually go on a holiday with my family during Chinese New Year. It's a perfect time for us to relax together.

What will you be wearing?
During this special festival, I love wearing something bright and flamboyant, preferably new clothing.

Tell us about your happiest Chinese New Year memory.
My happiest Chinese New year would be the time when I went to Bangkok with my family and my best friends. It's the best to have people you love around, and we all enjoy shopping and eating together.

I love grey agate and black onyx. They match perfectly with the crisp and cool winter palette.
