Shini Park On Wishing
Shini Park is the designer, photographer and writer behind the beautiful Park & Cube fashion blog. From salted caramel to super cars, Shini lists what she's wishing for, shares her cute nickname and tells us her tactics for attracting hugs.
If you were queen of the world, what's the first thing you'd do?
Make every Monday a duvet day! Or declare chocolate a new vitamin (wait, can one do that?)
If you had to say your greatest wish out loud, what would it be?
A salted caramel palace? Probably an all-expenses-paid trip around the world, if there is such a thing.
Is there something else you're secretly wishing for, any guilty pleasures?
I recently did a road trip for work in a sexy Jaguar, and ever since I've been wishing for another one, to the Welsh coast perhaps? Turns out it's not so expensive hiring a great car, so now I'm categorising mini city escapes in the same 'guilty pleasure' category as new shoes!
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
On a remote island with white sands and emerald blue seas - Thailand somewhere!
Do you possess any good luck charms?
I don't believe in luck as much as that hard work brings results, but if anything, I love cute photos of bear cubs from the internet and consider them a happy-day-maker.
What's at the top of your wish list this season?
A double-cashmere coat. I've recently unlocked this life trick, where you wear lots of soft, furry clothes like cashmere, and more people touch you.
What one piece of MV jewellery would you like to see under the tree?
The Fiji Full Diamond Bracelet - the more sparkles the better is my life motto.
If you had an engraving on your jewellery, what would it be?
Domino's Pizza telephone number? I'm kidding. Probably 'Bear Thoughts'! My husband and I are a bit of a cheesy couple, so we've got loads of inside nicknames going on. He's a bear and I'm a bunny. Our wedding rings are engraved with 'bear/bunny thoughts', so naturally everything else should be too. I know, get a room!
What song gets you into the festive spirit?
Madonna's Santa Baby!
What will you be wearing for the party season?
Hopefully lots of lush velvet, so I can disappear into the curtains at a particularly bad party. And jumpsuits - I reckon they're the best way to hide a post-meal bump.
